My third film themed ride in the last two weeks. First The Great Escape, then The Italian Job, now today’s ride which I decided to call A Bridge Too Far. A nod to the city of Arnhem where my great friends Gerben and Jeanne live. It was a ride on a very long cycling to-do list:

Ride over every bridge across the Thames from Tower Bridge to Windsor. All 24 of them.

Top tip. Don’t attempt this on a weekday. Sunday morning would be perfect. The volume of traffic and people meant it took ages to cross the central London bridges. It took 5 hours to get to Windsor and less than 3 to get back.
