Giro di Muscoli – Stage 11 Cesenatico, 202km

Stage 11 Cesenatico, Wednesday 23rd Sep

Sono andato, ho visto, sono tornato

Colin Fisher, 23rd September 2020

The translation would be “I went, I saw, I returned”.

That pretty much summarises my ride today. I like to have a target to aim for so I chose the Marco Pantani museum in Cesenatico. I rode to Cesenatico, took these photos, had lunch then rode back again. Not much else to say really.

Cesenatico is beautiful. There are so many restaurants to chose from along the Da Vinci designed canal. A bit posh for a sweaty cyclist so I made do with a café away from the tourist area. I thoroughly recommend a visit to Cesenatico if you get the chance.

Tomorrow’s plan is to climb some hills around the Metauro valley. I hope that will be a bit more interesting.
