Running with the pack

Conventional wisdom says that after a big endurance ride the best way to recover is hydration, sleep and a couple of one to two hour easy flat rides just to spin the legs.

As the consumate professional that I am, after LEL 2025 I walked the dogs, went down the pub and slept on and off for three days before going on a recovery ride.

I say recovery ride. I mean a 127 km tour of five pubs called the The Woolpack (Tenterden-Tutt Hill-Brabourne-Brookland-Warehorne-Tenterden) with Tenterden Cycle Club.
