Like every one else at the moment, things aren’t what we planned. By now we were supposed to be in Italy celebrating my 60th Birthday with Italian friends. I still had a perfect day, including, guess what, a 60km ride.
My 60th Birthday was the original inspiration for what has become the Giro di Muscoli. By now I should have completed my main training for the two week Tour in aid of Motor Neurone Disease research and patients.
We were supposed to leave London on Saturday 6th June, completing the challenge on Sunday 21st June (World Motor Neurone Disease Day).
For obvious reasons The Giro has been postponed to the 12th – 27th September.
We really hope the world will be a different place by then to allow the Tour to go ahead.
It will go ahead, because everybody wants it to and no-one more than you!
